Amanda Mendez
Amanda Mendez, born and raised in Boise, ID, found a deep healing practice in yoga as she cared for her terminal mother in her early 30s. After her mother's passing and a handful of life's other chaotic and challenging lessons she knew she wanted to share the lessons her mother taught her along the way to being your true authentic self and rediscovering how truly capable and resilient humans are. Since then she has taken a handful of yoga trainings both state side and internationally. Diving deep into her teaching, she has created her own unique style and has forged deep, personal connections with her students on the mat. She has put in countless hours of practice and teaching to develop her own approach to yoga, one that emphasizes the transformative power of the practice both physically and mentally. Amanda's students are drawn to her dynamic and engaging teaching style, as well as her ability to connect with them on a personal level. Through her teaching, Amanda seeks to empower her students to tap into their own inner strength and potential, allowing them to grow and evolve both on and off the mat. She hopes to share her many hours of experience through holding space for other inspired future teachers to grow and find their voice and empower them to share their love for the practice.
