These down-tempo shorts run the gamut from finding love in unexpected places, to a photographer navigating moments of vulnerability and grief, and a young man in Tijuana in the cross-hairs of a life or death agenda on the border. To cap things off, a documentary about a group of volunteers who collect injured or mortally wounded migrating birds in downtown Chicago, victims of noise pollution and suburban sprawl.
