The Hackfort Tech Challenge is a statewide pitch competition encouraging innovation and celebrating all things tech. Open to university and college students throughout Idaho, participants pitch technology solutions to problems facing our communities. Pitching teams receive a Treefort wristband and a chance to win $4k in cash prizes.
Teams must have at least one registered Idaho university or college student on your team in order to compete. Applications close Friday, February 28th at midnight. A practice pitch is REQUIRED during the week of March 3-7 as part of the application process. Applications will be reviewed by preliminary judges and the Venture College team. Finalist teams will be selected to pitch at Hackfort on Friday, March 28 at 10 am MT.
The Hackfort Tech Challenge is offered in partnership with Boise State University’s Venture College, a program in the College of Innovation and Design, Treefort Music Fest, and Trailhead Boise.
