The Crux opened just in time for Treefort 2012 and has been a welcome addition to the local music scene, helping to offer a small cap ALL AGES venue right on Main St.
Located just a couple doors down from Radio Boise and around the corner from Neurolux and Record Exchange, The Crux has quickly developed into a hang out coffeeshop for many musicians and others active in the local music scene.
The Crux continues to improve their space and sound system, and despite the small space, have hosted the likes of Built To Spill, Ceremony, Titus Andronicus, La Sera, Screaming Females, Tartufi and many more in the last year.
Enjoy a cup of the much-loved Stumptown Coffee, or a barley pop if you're of age, bask in the tunes and enjoy the scenery of recycled/sustainable furnishings and their ever changing art gallery walls.
As noted on the Tickets page, the best way to make sure you get into shows at The Crux during Treefort is to buy a festival pass and show up early. If there is available capacity after wristband holders have entered, we will sell a limited number of cash sales at the door for shows at The Crux. Entry for these shows will be priced at $10.
