Nicole Churchill
Nicole Churchill is Co-Founder and Music Supervisor at Assemble Sound headquartered in Detroit, where she leads music supervision, licensing, and sync strategy for film, television, commercials and brand campaigns. Her work centers on placing independent artists’ music in creative media and national campaigns for clients like HBO, Ford, Hulu, ESPN, Sony Pictures, etc. — helping artists break through while serving the creative needs of visual storytellers and brands.
Before relocating to Detroit in 2014 to start Assemble Sound, Nicole cut her teeth in the entertainment world in Los Angeles — from her start at Fox Searchlight Pictures to pitching music in a production library setting to supervising projects for trailers. Today she combines a deep understanding of smart sync strategy and practical licensing know-how to demystify the world of music for visual media, and she’s passionate about helping creators understand how their work connects to brands, ads, and media opportunities.
