Music Talks

Jessi Reed is a musician, creative-brained turbo music nerd, Gemini, and singer/guitarist in the indie band, Robert Shredford. Hailing from Northern Colorado, she got her musical start in femme punk bands while studying art at CU Boulder. Jessi then relocated to Seattle, spending over a decade at the Museum of Pop Culture (MoPOP), where she managed world-class concerts, blockbuster exhibition openings, and Sound Off!, the Northwest’s premier all ages music showcase. As a founding member of the '60s-fed, she-surfer, garage rock band Tea Cozies, she also spent her time in Seattle writing and releasing weird songs while playing as many shows as possible. Now in Fort Collins, CO, Jessi leads communications and engagement at the Music District, a vibrant hub and creative space dedicated to supporting and connecting musicians, collaboration, and artist development. She's also a board member at the Museum of Discovery, where she developed and launched Sonic Spotlight—a new program celebrating and mentoring the next wave of Colorado musicians.
