East Forest is a unique bird in the Wild West aviary of electro-acoustic music. While his shamanic ambient electropop can be contextualized along with Aphex Twin, Philip Glass and Sigur Ros, the fundamental mission of his project is to create sonic architecture for others to explore their own inner space. Thus, it is a process of opening doorways for the listener to walk through, which takes patience. Patience, while typically thought of as kryptonite in the instant gratification, hyper-speed world of music, might just be the medicine we need. Nature indelibly made a huge impression on him who grew up in the Pacific Northwest.

East Forest will be leading a ceremony at Yogafort 2019.

Rob Riccardo is an Arizona-based singer/songwriter who plays original acoustic roots music featuring socially conscious and spiritually seeking lyrics. Originally from the shores of Long Island, New York, the foundation of his musical style stems from the surf scene of his formative years on the East Coast where he discovered the music of conscious artists like Jack Johnson, Xavier Rudd and Ben Harper.

Following a long post-college musical hiatus, Rob and his wife moved from New York City to Arizona where he found his way back to songwriting and developed his meditation practice — as well as a deep connection to the mountains. Since his 2017 debut, Rob has released several albums and EPs that highlight his diverse style and unique blend of folk, rock, reggae and soul music.
