Day 5: Let’s Go Out With A Bang!

WOW!! Y’all, we’ve officially joined Team YACHT and we couldn’t be more happy. We hope you had as much fun as we did partying til the wee hours. It’s Easter Sunday and we’ve risen with a little help from strong coffee and anticipation for the last day of Treefort V. Now, let’s go out with a bang!

Let your senses lead you to our first ever food truck brunch outside of Main Stage 11am – 1pm then go grab that bloody mary that’s calling your name. It’s going to be a monumental night at Main Stage with Youth Lagoon’s final U.S. performance closing out the Main Stage, but the celebrations won’t stop there. Find the fresh sounds of locals Godly Hemlines and Up Is The Down Is The at Neurolux and rocknroll your body with Denver’s Flaural. Watch as Seth Olinsky from Band Dialogue switches rolls to rock with Cy Dune on the crowned stage and move your body to indie group Quilt. At Watercooler chill out with experimental folk rocker Storie Grubb, songs from the heart of Tag Along Friend, the mellow moutwithabangelodies of Sleep Seahorse, pink-noise Swiss duo J&L Defer, low-end looper C.J. Boyd, self proclaimed “Puerto Rican Lee Hazlewood” Neighbors, modern synth band Sick Wish, then things will start to really pick up with New York art band Howardian (Ian Vanek from Japanther), garage band droners Revolt Revolt, and elegant post-rock locals Red Hands Black Feet. Get trippy at Linen with transcendental free-sitar group Naan Violence, local lo-fi weirdo crooner With Child, and  the unique sonic landscapes of Eleanor Murray. Things will start to heat up with Sioux Falls, experimental rockers Woozy, local indie-rockers Western Daughter, DIY punkers All Dogs, New Jersey’s Pinegrove, good old-fashioned punk-rock band The Sidekicks, the dense textured sound of The World is a Beautiful Place & I am No Longer Afraid to Die, and, the layered sounds of Into It. Over It.

Get blown away by Portland supergroup Chanti Darling’s groovy dance moves and fall in love with Y La Bamba over at Main Stage. Experience party animals deCollage at Olympic, and stay for psychedelic weird pop from Alaska/Portland’s Animal Eyes and finishing off the night with the compelling Chuck Ragan. We’re going to be all smiles with Olympia indie rock group Holiday Friends at Radio Boise Campfire Stage and we’ll sway all the way to Braided Waves at El Korah where you’ll also get your Built to Spill fix before dancing the night away with a DJ party at Reef or a DJ set from YACHT at Neurolux which is sure to finish with loads of hugs.

Check out Resurrection Cinema at Owyhee where you can see furry fandom film Fursonas (2pm) and finish out Filmfort with cult classic murder flick Boarding House (6pm).

We have all had a long week filled with smiles, hearts pouring over with love and, of course, dancing our asanas off.  Join Yogafort’s Closing Meditation at Rose Room (4pm) to meditate the amazing week that is nearly behind us.

You’ll need the hair of the dog today so, come over to the Alefort tent and help us kill the kegs with our pals at Payette Brewing.

If you haven’t made it to Foodfort yet, it is a must. Zee’s Rooftop Catering, Bittercreek/Red Feather, Wild Root Café and more will be in attendance, satisfying those grumbly tummies.

Recharge with some good ‘ole Vitamin C mixed with champagne and poetry.

– Don’t forget to pick up your Treefort V souvenirs at the General Store, located inside the Owyhee….everything is in small quantities so snag it up now, while you can!
– It’s Springtime in Boise, so pack for all weather and bring layers!

– Have so much fun!!
