John Kiser is a 2020 graduate of Boise State’s Games Interactive Media and Mobile Technology (GIMM) degree program. He is currently working for Boise State University’s Division of Extended Studies as the Resource Coordinator for the Onramp Program. As a musician all his life, John has always had a passion for music and creativity. He began his higher education journey at the University of Idaho as a music education and composition major. He has always had a passion for technology and struggled to find the connection with traditional music education and technology. After leaving the University of Idaho, he found the GIMM program which seemed to be the perfect blend of creative expression and work with leading technology. John started working with the Onramp Program as a Student Mentor during the first year of the program. He continued as a Student Mentor and became a permanent part of the Onramp Program after graduating. He now manages hundreds of devices and an ever-growing collection of curriculum and content produced by the program for students and educators.
