Making The Band
For Treefort, we have loosely concocted a hair brain scheme that is a long form improv experience we title "Making the Band". We want our audience to help us build the backstory of the epic hip/indie/tragic/rock/street/pop rise of the now iconic superstar group "_________" ( insert rock band name here) who had the chart topping hit "____" (insert song here). Audiences will witness the rise and fall of this ridiculously cliched rock duo. It will be Treefort music festivals very own Spinal Tap!

Carny Veil
A short monologue play by Heidi Kraay with live cello accompaniment by Melissa Wilson. Carny Veil deals with a woman's year-gone-ugly spent with a ragged carnival crew. It was recently selected as a semi-finalist for the Spotlight On playwriting competition in Hollywood. It is relevant for all humans who want to treat each other better. It is a poetic blast of narrative drama and movement in response to music.

Using a loosely defined structure, we find a composition together and tell a story by finding it ourselves. It's about trust and discovery as music, visual art, movement and text collide in theatrical upstarts.
