Uzala

Formed in 2009, UZALA is a fuzz ridden icy landscape hailing from both Boise, Idaho and Portland, Oregon.

With a nod to the masters of early 70's metal, and yet a unique sound all their own, UZALA is a traditional doom metal band unlike any you have heard before.

They have shared the stage with Wolves in the Throne Room, YOB, Dark Castle, Weedeater, Wolvserpent, The Roller, Cough, Atriarch, Red Fang, Mares of Thrace, and many others.

UZALA'S first full-length album was released on March 5th, 2012 on vinyl through At War With False Noise, and on cassette through Witch Sermon Releases.

UZALA's sophomore offering, Tales of Blood & Fire, was released October 15, 2013 by King of the Monsters Records on vinyl and CD. Cassettes are available through GypsyBlood Records.

Recorded in six days at Witch Ape Studios with Boise/Seattle legend Tad Doyle (TAD, Brothers of the Sonic Cloth) and mixed/mastered by the inimitable Mell Dettmer (Earth, SUNNO))), Boris, Wolves in the Throne Room) this album is a document of cruelty, obsession, and despair throughout history and myth.
