The Hand

Boise based singer/songwriter Scott Schmaljohn (Treepeople, Stuntman, SOC, The Treatment), started The Hand in 2000. The Hand has one album out “What doesn’t kill you... (Tries again),” recorded by Andy Agenbroad at his project 7 studios.

The Hand has had different bass players and drummers through the 13 years of existence. Current bass player James Johnson (Trigger Itch) and drummer, Jasin Serna ( Revolt Revolt, Piranhas BC, The Treatment) round out the newest incarnation of The Hand’s driving rhythm section. Scott played a solo on Built to Spills “Pat” song on their 2009 release “There is no enemy.”

The Hand is loud, fast rock.
