Dark Swallows is an American rock band based in Boise, Idaho featuring Phil Merrell on guitar, Hyrum Haeberle on guitar and bass, Ivy Meissner on guitar and bass and Stephen Samuelson on keys and drums.

Merrell, Haeberle and Meissner also sing. Vocal harmonies swell over intricate guitar melodies and droning keyboards to create introspective songs that are at times tantric. Merrell and Meissner began writing music together in 2008 while Merrell recorded Le Fleur, the band with which Meissner has played since 2005. In 2010, the two were joined by former Juntura bandmates Samuelson and Haeberle and the group began playing live. They are currently working on a full length album.
