A Seasonal Disguise

Boise, ID

A Seasonal Disguise is a band from Boise, Idaho, USA.

A dizzying whirl of barely controlled chaos permeates A Seasonal Disguise. At times infectious, at times confounding, Z.V. House's former solo project has evolved into a fully developed, six headed, 12 armed, musical hydra, bent wholly to the task of fusing their love of noise, notes, and poutine into a hearty, clarinet leavened blend of rail hugging rock & roll. Sharing the stage with bands like Built To Spill, Frog Eyes, Alec Ounsworth (Clap Your Hands Say Yeah), Clem Snide, Dave Dondero, Tartufi and more, A Seasonal Disguise has built a reputation as one of Boise's most varied and exciting bands.

Based in Boise, Idaho, with sometime cello assist imported from Portland, Oregon, ASD spent 2012 releasing a new album (Waterfowl of Eastern Canada), touring the west, and trying not to eat excesses of jerky.

The new year finds them releasing the EP “Waterfowl of Western Canada” as a web exclusive download on February 14th and beginning work on their next full length. Look for them at home and abroad throughout the coming year.
